Murry Allen Owens, passed away on February 17, 2016. He was preceded in death by his son, Allen Owens, and parents, Marie and Lavell Owens.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 February 20, 2016 at Leak Memory Chapel with Minister Byron Golden officiating. The interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

Survivors include his loving wife, Carol Jo Owens; daughters, Jennie Jones (Robert), Kathy Sherrill (Keith), Tracey Panter (Morris), Deb Blayne (Kevin); 13 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; sisters, Janeen Donde (Lothar), Nikki Owens; and nephew, Vince Donde (Susette).

The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to Dr. Cox, Dr. Highley, Jongie, Irena and Gentiva Hospice for their gentle and caring spirit and services.

Pallbearers will be his grandsons and nephew.
