Joe Weldon Bradley, Sr., 80, a resident of Montgomery, died March 9, 2017. He was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy G. Bradley. He is survived by his four children Joe W. Bradley Jr., Susan E. (Bradley) Hardin, Morgan Bradley and Richard F. Bradley, seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He graduated from Sidney Lanier High School in 1954 and The University of the South, Sewanee, TN in 1958. He received a BA Degree in Business Administration. At Sewanee he was a member of Phi Theta Fraternity, Pi Gamma Mu honorary Fraternity and The Wellington Club. After graduating he served three years in the U.S.M.C., as a Communications Officer. He spent the majority of his adult life in Nashville, TN, working in various capacities in the insurance industry. He did volunteer work for a number of years with the Episcopal Coalition on alcohol and drug addiction and served on the Vestry of Grace Episcopal Church.
Visitation and Service will be held at Grace Episcopal Church, 906 Pike Rd, Pike Road, AL 36064 on Saturday, March 11th. Visitation will begin at 9:00 am. Service to follow at 10:00 am.
