Edna Warner (Luckie) (1932-2009) - Class Of 1951

LUCKIE, Edna Warner, 76, a resident of Montgomery, Ala­bama, died Saturday, Janu­ary 31, 2009 at her residence.  Funeral services will be held from Leak-Memory Chapel on Wednesday, February 4, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor David Stewart and Pastor Joel Wasson officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Ceme­tery. A proud Auburn Universi­ty graduate, she is survived by her husband of 54 years, George Truitt Luckie; two daughters, Laura Luckie How­ell of Seminole, Florida and Paige (Roger) Shultz of Enter­prise; two sons, Truitt (Kathy) Luckie of Vestavia Hills and Warner (Christi) Luckie of Montgomery; grandchildren, Zach Luckie, Austin Luckie, Chandlar Luckie, Dudley Luckie, Ivan Shultz, Hanna Swain, Mallory (Brad) Farmer; and one sister, Adele Warner.  Pallbearers will be Zach Luck­ie, Ed Warner, Daniel Warner, Rob Spivey, Eddie Parker,and Joe Wingard. In lieu of flowers, please make memo­rial contributions to Fairview United Methodist Church, 5500 Old Selma Road, Mont­gomery, Alabama 36108 or to the United Methodist Chil­dren’s Home, P.O. Box 830, Selma, Alabama, 36702.  Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 4, 2009 at Leak-Memory Chapel one hour prior to the service. Leak-Memory Chapel Directing.
