LUCKIE, Edna Warner, 76, a resident of Montgomery, Alabama, died Saturday, January 31, 2009 at her residence. Funeral services will be held from Leak-Memory Chapel on Wednesday, February 4, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor David Stewart and Pastor Joel Wasson officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. A proud Auburn University graduate, she is survived by her husband of 54 years, George Truitt Luckie; two daughters, Laura Luckie Howell of Seminole, Florida and Paige (Roger) Shultz of Enterprise; two sons, Truitt (Kathy) Luckie of Vestavia Hills and Warner (Christi) Luckie of Montgomery; grandchildren, Zach Luckie, Austin Luckie, Chandlar Luckie, Dudley Luckie, Ivan Shultz, Hanna Swain, Mallory (Brad) Farmer; and one sister, Adele Warner. Pallbearers will be Zach Luckie, Ed Warner, Daniel Warner, Rob Spivey, Eddie Parker,and Joe Wingard. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to Fairview United Methodist Church, 5500 Old Selma Road, Montgomery, Alabama 36108 or to the United Methodist Children’s Home, P.O. Box 830, Selma, Alabama, 36702. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 4, 2009 at Leak-Memory Chapel one hour prior to the service. Leak-Memory Chapel Directing.
