TAYLOR-SWIHART, Terry S., age 77, born August 27, 1931, in Jasper, Alabama, died on Monday, December 8, 2008 in Niceville, Florida.  She graduated from Sidney Lanier High School in Mont­gomery, Alabama and at­tended the college of William and Mary. Terry was active in community affairs, serving as the Niceville Friends of the Li­brary President from 2005 -2008, a group she was instru­mental in starting. She was an ambassador for many years in both the Fort Walton Beach and the Niceville Chambers of Commerce. Terry loved to travel and was especially for­tunate to travel extensively with her husband, Al. She is survived by her hus­band, Albert "Al" Swihart, three daughters, Kathy Taylor Sellers, Carolyn (Gardner) Taylor Rowell, and Susie (Jim) Taylor Ross as well as six grandchildren, Sean Michael Sellers, Hunter Ray Ross, Emily Elizabeth Rowell, Haley Lau­ren Ross, William Taylor Row­ell, and Christopher Ryan Ross.  A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11, 2008 from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Emerald Coast Funeral Home, 113 Racetrack Road, N.E., Fort Walton Beach. A Memorial Service will follow at 4:00 p.m.  In lieu of flowers the family re­quests donations be made to Niceville Friends of the Li­brary, 206 N. Partin Drive, Niceville, Florida 32578.  Terry never met a stranger. She touched so many lives and will be greatly missed.
