Betty Jean Flournoy (Hankins Taylor) (1930-2018) - Class Of 1948

Mrs. Betty Flournoy Hankins Taylor, born on September 22, 1930, passed away after a lengthy illness on Sunday, February 4, 2018, at a local nursing facility. A resident of Wetumpka, Alabama, she was born in Montgomery to the late Robert and Marguerite Flournoy. She was preceded in death by her two husbands, Billy Bert Hankins and Charles W. Taylor.

Mrs. Taylor is survived by her three sons, Robert (Lana) Hankins, Jerry (Mary Ann) Hankins, and Jack (Gail) Hankins; two sisters, Barbara Ann Rouse and Patsy Mulcahy; eight grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be on Wednesday, February 7, 2018, at 11:00 am from the Wetumpka Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. James Troglen officiating. Private interment will follow the service with Wetumpka Memorial Funeral Home Directing.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until 11:00 am from the Wetumpka Memorial Funeral Home in Wetumpka, Alabama.
