Frank Dawsey, age 85, a resident of Deatsville, passed away at home, on January 29, 2012. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Joyce Marie and his mother, Grace Dawsey Vinson.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Jewel Dawsey; son, Frank Alan (Leslie) Houston, TX, daughters; Patricia Wilks (Steve), Mobile, AL, and Sara Phillips (Royace), Montgomery; seven grandchildren, seven great- grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.

Mr. Dawsey retired from BellSouth after a 41 year career. He served in the Army Air Corp during WWII.

Visitation will be held at Leak-Memory Chapel on Thursday, February 2, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. followed by funeral services at 2:00 p.m. Internment will follow at Montgomery Memorial Cemetery.
