BACH, William (Bill) Stratton,  age 79, a lifelong resident of Montgomery, Alabama ex­pired on March 11, 2008.  Mr.Bach was a stock broker for many years and retired as Vice President of A.G. Ed­wards & Sons and manager of the local branch.  Mr. Bach leaves a loving family and loyal friends to cherish his memory, including three daughters Sandra Richards (Jeff) of Eufaula, AL, Leita Lewis (Neal) of Raleigh, NC, Laura Hamilton (John) of Montgomery, and son, Wil­liam Baron Bach (Jennifer) of Ada, AL. He also leaves a brother, Spencer Bach of Montgomery, AL and a sister, Beverly Cassell of Los An­geles, CA. His six grandchil­dren include Dent and Caro­line Richards (Eufaula), Lind­sey and Brad Lewis (Raleigh),and Spencer and Travis Ham­ilton (Montgomery). He was preceded in death by his par­ents, William Durhenfort and Lucille Taylor Bach. Funeral services will be held on Fri­day, March 14, 2008 at 11:00 AM at Leak-Memory Chapel with burial following at Green­wood Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 13, 2008 from 5:00 PM -7:00 PM at Leak-Memory Cha­pel. The family would like to give a special thanks to Den­ise McKeithen, a faithful friend. Pallbearers include Neal Lewis, Dent Richards, Jeff Richards, John Hamilton, Rod Bach, and Dickie Blond­heim. Honorary pallbearers include special friends Lon Conner, Robert Messer, Mor­gan Ledyard, Dudley Griffin,and Larry Lehman. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Montgomery Coun­ty Humane Society in honor of Ruff, his cherished Golden Retriever.  Leak-Memory Chapel.
