Jack Harold Cain (1927-2016) - Class Of 1947

Jack Harold Cain, age 89 of Montgomery, Alabama passed away December 26, 2016.

Jack was born September 12, 1927 to Alva and Lucille Cain. Jack was a 1947 graduate of Lanier Highschool. He served as a field engineer in the 5th Armored Division of the United States Army, Camp Chaffee, Arkansas. He was awarded the Korean Service Medal with a Bronze Star for his service. Jack was a top performing sales representative for Johnson Beauty and Barber Supply Company selling for top brands Redken, Revlon, Clairol and Helene Curtis for 52 years. Jack loved with all he had and a friend to everyone he met.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, Winsett Cain, John Cain and Lewis Cain, and his wife, Rebecca Owens Cain.

He is survived by his sister, Lucille Bender, daughter Nancy Cain Perkins (Jim), granddaughters Jacqueline Perkins Hughes (Will), Candice Rebecca Perkins and Shea Lucille Perkins and great grandchildren William Alfred Hughes IV, Mary Winsett Hughes and Weldon Bear Hughes.

His life will be celebrated on Thursday, December 29, 2016 at 2pm in the chapel at Aldersgate United Methodist Church.
