Rosamond Mills Grant Price

GRANT, Rosamond Mills Price, age 86, of Montgomery, AL passed away Sunday, August 18, 2013. Mrs. Grant was born in Birmingham, AL on June 1, 1927 and was a life long member of Trinity Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Grant is preceded in death by her parents; Charles Willard Mills and Lillian Butler Mills; a loving husband; Robert W. Grant whom she was married to for 41 years prior to his death in 1999. Mrs. Grant then had the privilege to marry again to Mr. James Robert Price, a dear friend from high school who also precedes her in death. Mrs. Grant was a loving daughter, a loving mother to many children over the years, as well as a grandmother and great grandmother.

She is survived by one son, Robert (Tammy) Grant of Montgomery, AL; two granddaughters; Amy (Chris) Nahley of West Virginia and Kathryn Lee Grant & Fiance' (Austin Mayfield) of Montgomery, AL and one great-granddaughter, Olive Grace Nahley of West Virginia; one cousin, Joy (Ed) Ray of Cropwell, AL; an honorary daughter, Reda Beck Robinson of Orange Beach, AL and an honorary granddaughter, Ashley Evelyn Robinson of Auburn, AL.

Funeral services for Mrs. Grant will be held Wednesday, August 21, 2013 at 11:00am at Leak Memory Chapel with Rev. James Greene officiating. The family will receive friends at 10:00am, one hour prior to service. Pall bearers will include: Philip Eggers, Cecil Vaughn, Austin Mayfield, Christopher Nahley, and William Gardner.
