Betty Baggett (Hall) (1927-2013) - Class Of 1945

Betty Baggett Hall passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, November 15, 2013.

Betty was born March 11, 1927 in Birmingham, Alabama. She moved to Montgomery at age 9 and lived the rest of her life on her farm on the Old Selma Road. She was a successful Angus cattle breeder and showman. Among her many achievements she won several state titles in the Alabama Youth cattle shows with her children and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jesse Dan Baggett, her mother, Lucille Warren Baggett, her brothers, Dr. J. Dan Baggett, Jr. and Jimmy Keith Baggett and a daughter, Betty Lynn Hall.

She is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, Malcolm C. Hall; one son, Macky J. (Ramona) Hall; four grandchildren, Keelie Rossi, Kendall (Brad) Price, Hannah Hall and Paul Evans; six great-grandchildren, Kamren, Karington, Kaedyn, Payton, Paige and Paxton; a loving sister-in-law, Mrs. Mae Poole and many family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2013 at Leak Memory Chapel from 5:00 until 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, November 17, 2013 at Leak Memory Chapel at 2:00 pm with Reverends Joel Wasson and Troy Hughes officiating.

Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
