Jacqueline Embry Prim, 86, of Wilmington, died Monday, December 17, 2012, at Lower Cape Fear Hospice and LifeCareCenter.

Jackie was born March 17, 1926, in Montgomery, Alabama, daughter of the late Mac Clure Embry and Lula Holley Embry. Her husband, Harold Lee Prim, Sr., preceded her in death.

Mrs. Prim retired from the New Hanover County school system.

She is survived by her four children, Harold Lee Prim, Jr. (Paula) of Martinez, GA, John McClure Prim of Lakeland, FL, Holley Evans (Mitchell) of Rocky Point, and Donna Hankovich (Corky) of Wilmington, NC; three grandchildren, Nicky George, Stacy Katz, and David Catlett; four great-grandchildren; and a brother, John Embry (Peggy) of Slidell, Louisiana.
