Harold Ehrlich (1927-2010) - Class Of 1944

Ehrlich, Harold a lifetime resident of Montgomery, AL passed away Friday, October 1, 2010. Harold was born January 21, 1927 to the late Israel and Eva Ehrlich. He is survived by his wife of 62 years Betty Jo Ehrlich, one son Barry (Debra) Ehrlich, one daughter Elaine (John) Kirkpatrick, and one grandson David Ehrlich, who was the joy of his life. He was a graduate of Lanier High School, a veteran of World War II and a graduate of the University of Alabama. He was manager/owner of City Pawn Shop for over 50 years. He was a lifetime member of Agudath Israel-Etz Ahayem Synagogue. Funeral services will be held Sunday, October 3, 2010 at 11 a.m. at Leak Memory Chapel followed immediately by graveside services. Rabbi Scott Kramer will be officiating. Pallbearers will be Jeff Bern, Arnold Finkelstein, Larry Bern, Jerome Smith, Allen Stern, Charles Miller, Morris Capp, and Buddy Rousso. Honorary pallbearers will be Walter Brenner, Ben Sharker, Irving Bern, Charles Strasburger, Alan Rosenthal, Aubrey Green, Ken Shinbaum, Richard Shinbaum, Jack London, Larry Allen, James Jackson, Raymond Cohen, Steve Clein, Neil Labovitz, Jerald Labovitz, and Louis Gotthelf. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Agudath Israel-Etz Ahayem Synagogue, Montgomery Area Food Bank or to a charity of your choice.
