Tris Mock, 87, of Spanish Fort, Alabama, passed away November 20, 2012. Tris was born in Montgomery, Alabama, and was a longtime resident of Sarasota, Florida, St.Petersburg, Florida, and Spanish Fort, Alabama.
He was a Navy Veteran of WWII and Korea and served on destroyers in the North Atlantic.
Tris was preceded in death by his brother, Bob, and his wife of 43 years, Glenda L. Mock of Harvest, Alabama.
Survivors include his sisters, Jackie Rushton, of Montgomery, Alabama and Betty Whitehurst, of Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina; sons, Rob, Jim and Tom Mock, and Steve and Frank Giardini; 15 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
He was a man with great capacity to love.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Whitesburg Baptist Church Chapel.
