Kenneth L. Campbell (1925-2007) - Class Of 1943


CAMPBELL, Kenneth L., 82, a life long resident of Montgomery passed away Sunday, June 3, 2007.  Funeral services will be Thurs­day, June 7, 2007 at 11:00 AM at Leak-Memory Chapel.  Burial will follow in Green­wood Cemetery. Mr. Campbell was a veteran of the Navy having served in World War II and the Korean War. He owned and operat­ed Todd’s Gun Store for over 42 years. He is preceded in death by his parents, R L D Campbell and Lillian Levon Mann Campbell, sister Helen Levon Campbell Fincher and broth­er Norman Angus Campbell.  He is survived by his wife, Pat­ricia T. Campbell, children Sheron Burson Knott of Mont­gomery, AL, Ken Campbell, Jr. of Peachtree City, GA, Gail (Ron) Carroll of Fairfield, CT, Leigh (Joe) Nichols of Mont­gomery, AL and Dale (Pa­trick) Romano of St. Peters­burg, FL, sisters Sara Ann (Phillip) Olson of Nipton, CA and Carolyn (Gerald) Joiner of Houston, TX brother Robert W. (Kay) Campbell of Univer­sity Place, WA, eight grand­children, nine great grand­children and many loving nieces and nephews. Active pallbearers will be Rhett Trousdale, Joe Nichols, Ron Carroll, Kyle Gilreath, Bra­dy Fincher and Patrick Ro­mano. Honorary pallbearers will be Lawrence Bickley, Clarence R. Trousdale, Jr, James R. Watson, Gerald Joiner, Walter T. Cronier and William M. Pearson. Visitation will be at Leak-Memory Chapel Wednesday, June 6, 2007 from 6:00 PM un­til 8:00 PM.
