Virginia Blankenship Noland, age 90, of Montgomery, passed away Wednesday, January 6, 2016. She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Mamie Blankenship; and her brother, Joe Blankenship.

Mrs. Noland was an educator for over 30 years in the Montgomery County school system. She was also a lifetime member of Capitol Heights United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her children, Kathleen (Ralph) Hayden, Carol (Timothy) Colbert; 7 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; a sister, Catherine (Jim) Weston; and other relatives and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, January 10, 2016 at Alabama Heritage Cemetery with Pastor Geoffrey Kagoro officiating. Leak Memory Chapel is directing.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Capitol Heights United Methodist Church to minister to Shut-Ins.
