Luther Marvin Berry) (1925-2012 - Class Of 1943

Berry, Luther M., Sr., a World War II veteran, completed his earthly journey and arrived in heaven on September 5, 2012. He is survived by his wife, Betty W. Berry, 3 sons, Luther M. Berry, Jr., (Lynn) of N.Y., N.Y., Thomas W. Ritch of Union Springs, Al, & John W. Ritch,(Jeanette) of Tallassee, Al.; four grandchildren, Tonya Thompson (John), Michael J. Ritch, (Ellen) Wilton Johnson (Ashley) and Kenly Pyrlik (Chris); five great-grandchildren, Ashlyn Hayes, Samantha Engle, Eli Ritch, Ava Oates and C.J. Pyrlik. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 on Monday , September 10, 2012 at Leak Memory Chapel with Rev. Ed Deabler, Tony Barkley and Ella Lynn officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Pallbearers will be Michael Ritch, John Thompson, Wilton Johnson, Chris Pyrlik, John Ritch, Tom Ritch and Bo Freeman. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Good Fellowship Class of Dalraida Methodist Church and former members of the Asbury Builders Class. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Dalraida United Methodist Church, 3817 Atlanta Highway, Montgomery, Al. 36109 or to the charity of your choice .
