Nancy Carmichael Bullock (Vallance) (1924-2007) - Class Of 1942

VALLANCE, Nancy Carmichael Bullock, age 82, passed away Wednesday February 14, 2007, at home in Montgomery. A na­tive of Montgomery, Mrs. Val­lance was a lifelong member of the First United Methodist Church. She was the daughter of Fanellen Carmichael Bullock and Atwood Bullock. Mrs. Val­lance graduated from Lanier High School in 1942 and Hunt­ington College in 1963 and taught at Capitol Heights Jr. High until her retirement in 1986. She was a sister of the PEO for 31 years. Nancy is sur­vived by her husband of sixty-one years: Asa James Val­lance; two sons: Charles At­wood Vallance & daughter-in-law Marianne of Indian Har­bour Beach, FL, Asa James Val­lance Jr. & daughter-in-law Jen­nie of Fort Worth, TX; Two Granddaughters: Susan Schuh & Catherine Vallance of  Hous­ton, TX and Grandson Benja­min Vallance of Fort Worth, TX and many dear friends, rela­tives and students. A 10:00 AM Visitation followed by Funeral services at 11:00 AM will beheld on Saturday February 17, 2007, at the First United Method­ist Church, with Dr. Karl Stegall and Bishop Paul Duffey officiat­ing. Burial will follow at Green­wood Cemetery. Serving as Pallbearers are: Atwood Val­lance, Jimmy Vallance, Eddie Amelung, Scott Schuh, Bo Free­man, Chuck Rawls, Atwood Rush and Howard Stripling. Memorials may be made to Vista Care Hospice, The First United Methodist Church or the charity of your choice. The family will receive friends at The Cedars Assisted Living Center,3300 Lynchburg Drive, at 2:00P.M. White Chapel - Greenwood Funeral Home Directing
