VALLANCE, Nancy Carmichael Bullock, age 82, passed away Wednesday February 14, 2007, at home in Montgomery. A native of Montgomery, Mrs. Vallance was a lifelong member of the First United Methodist Church. She was the daughter of Fanellen Carmichael Bullock and Atwood Bullock. Mrs. Vallance graduated from Lanier High School in 1942 and Huntington College in 1963 and taught at Capitol Heights Jr. High until her retirement in 1986. She was a sister of the PEO for 31 years. Nancy is survived by her husband of sixty-one years: Asa James Vallance; two sons: Charles Atwood Vallance & daughter-in-law Marianne of Indian Harbour Beach, FL, Asa James Vallance Jr. & daughter-in-law Jennie of Fort Worth, TX; Two Granddaughters: Susan Schuh & Catherine Vallance of Houston, TX and Grandson Benjamin Vallance of Fort Worth, TX and many dear friends, relatives and students. A 10:00 AM Visitation followed by Funeral services at 11:00 AM will beheld on Saturday February 17, 2007, at the First United Methodist Church, with Dr. Karl Stegall and Bishop Paul Duffey officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Serving as Pallbearers are: Atwood Vallance, Jimmy Vallance, Eddie Amelung, Scott Schuh, Bo Freeman, Chuck Rawls, Atwood Rush and Howard Stripling. Memorials may be made to Vista Care Hospice, The First United Methodist Church or the charity of your choice.
