Mrs. Ohman was a native of Pine Level (Montgomery County), AL. She was the daughter of Ray Chappell Guice and Alice Parker Guice (Capell). She graduated from Sidney Lanier High School in Montgomery, Alabama.

While employed at Maxwell Field (now Maxwell AFB) during World War II, she met her husband Richard K. Ohman, a native of the Boston area. They were married over 65 years until his death. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Morgan Guice, Montgomery, AL and a sister, Mary Frances (Mrs. Edmund) Landau of Albany. She and her sister frequently visited each other in their homes, and she had many friends and contacts in Albany.

Survivors include a daughter, Deborah Ohman-Zimet, Boca Raton, FL; a son, Richard K. Ohman, Jr., Bradenton, Fl and Costa Rica; 3 grandchildren: Michael C. Ohman, Winter Garden, FL, Ashley (Mrs. Alex) Kriss, Columbus, OH, and April Ohman, Bradenton, FL.
