Frances Elizabeth Galloway (Moody) (1921-2012) - Class Of 1939

Frances Galloway Moody, 91, a longtime resident of Montgomery, died Tuesday, October 23, 2012. She is preceded in death by her husband, D. W. Moody Jr., her mother Ray Strickland Galloway and her father, Herbert Leroy Galloway.

She is survived by her daughter, Virginia (Phil) Butler;
Her son, D. W. (Meri) Moody III;
Her grandchildren, Elizabeth (John David) Nolen, Kansas City, Mary Virginia (Josh) Mandell, Birmingham, Wiley (Neil Ann) Moody IV and George Moody, Nashville and Philip Moody, Washington DC.
Her great grandchildren are Ella Frances, Ham and Mac Mandell; John Philip and Alexander Nolen; and Dempsey Moody.

She was devoted to her family, friends, church and community, always sharing her smile.

A memorial service will be held in the Chapel at First United Methodist Church on Thursday, October 25th, 2012, at 11:00am with Dr. Lawson Bryan and the Rev. David Saliba officiating. Visitation will follow at the church.
