SMILIE, Jeanette Lifsey, 85, a resident of Montgomery, Alabama died Saturday, December 10, 2005. Survivors include one daughter Margaret Anne (Peggy) and husband Greg Gilbert of Birmingham, Al; two sons, Luther Christman Smilie and wife Tade of Montgomery, Al ; Clifton Parker (Bo) Smilie III and wife Melissa of Montgomery, Al. Mrs. Smilie attended Mary Baldwin College in Staunton, Va. and was a graduate of the University of Alabama and member of Kappa Delta Sorority . She was also a life long member of the First United Methodist Church of Montgomery. The family would like to give special thanks to their mother’s caregiver Johnnie Rivers for her devoted and loving care. Friends will gather for a graveside service on Tuesday, December 13, 2005 at 1:00 PM. in Greenwood Cemetery with Dr. Karl Stegall officiating the service.
