McGOUGH, Julia Harris, a resident of Montgomery died Thursday January 12, 2006. Graveside services will be Monday January 16th at 2:00PM from Greenwood Cemetery with Dr. Jim Simoeau and Bishop Summerlin officiating. Mrs. McGough was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Dawson McGough, III. She is survived by her daughter Judy McGough Ruffer, and two sons, Thomas Dawson McGough, IV and Garsick Harris McGough, grandchildren, Jay M. Ruffer, Ailee McGough, Carrie M. Sasser, Dawson McGough, Guy McGough and Vance Cobb, great-grandson, John Dawson Sasser, special friend and caregiver, Lillie Mae Goldsmith. Pallbearers will be her grandsons and John Stower, Peyton Mathis, Jimmy Dozier and Joe Ruffer. In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to The American Diabetes Association or Young Meadows Presbyterian Church.
