PUTMAN, Mary Brook Harper, born May 21, 1920 in Hatties­burg, MS and a lifelong resi­dent of Montgomery, died in a local hospital March 8, 2007.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph G. Put­man; her brother, Roscoe H. Brook; her sister, Vera Brook Weisman; and her grandson, Carl Cooper Walter, Jr.  Survivors include three chil­dren, Mary Brook Walter and husband Carl, Cary Davis Harp­er III and wife Judy, and Genie Harper Pruett and husband John; six grandchildren, Susan Walter Lawson, Amy Elizabeth Harper, Cary Davis Harper IV, Patricia Prickett Brewer, Mi­chael David Prickett, and Jennifer Prickett Ayers; nine great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.  Graveside services will be Mon­day, March 12 at 10AM in Greenwood Cemetery. Family and friends will gather at 9AM for visitation at Leak-Memory Chapel before proceeding to the cemetery.
