M. Lois Boland (Campbell) (1920-2014) - Class Of 1938

Lois Boland Campbell, 94, of Montgomery, Alabama, passed away August 5, 2014. Mrs. Campbell was born in Montgomery December 1, 1919. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Samuel and Lenora Virginia (Johnson) Boland and her husband John David (Soup) Campbell. She is survived by her son, Johnny Campbell (Monte); her daughter, Kay Donaldson (Allen); her grandchildren, Jennifer Turner (Brent), Jeff Campbell (Kim), Brad Donaldson (Marianne), and Clay Donaldson (Jennifer); her nine great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Carrie Boland and Mary Radford (Bill); and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Campbell became a member of Forest Avenue Methodist Church in her youth and continued to be a member when it became Aldersgate United Methodist Church. She was an active member of the Builders Sunday School Class. She also was a member of Evelyn Wells Circle and served as president for many years. Mrs. Campbell was a long-time member of the Montgomery Civinetts. She retired from the Agricultural Stabilization and Conservation Service (ASCS) after 36 years.

Visitation will be Friday, August 8, 2014, at 11 a.m. at Leak-Memory Chapel. Graveside services will be at noon from Greenwood Cemetery with Rev. Jim Dannelly and Dr. Brian Miller officiating. Active pallbearers will be Brad Donaldson, Jeff Campbell, Clay Donaldson, Brent Turner, Joe Boland, Bob Massey, and Bill Boland.
