STUART, Lucy Culver, 84, died on Thursday March 31, 2005. Funeral services will be held at the First United Methodist Church of Montgomery, Alabama on Sunday, April 3, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. with Dr. Karl Stegall and Rev Joe Hasting officiating. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Mrs. Stuart was preceded in death by her husband Edgar Wall Stuart, her sister, Minnie Lanier, and her brother, Robert Culver. Mrs. Stuart is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Mary Lou and Jay Garry of Alpharetta, Georgia; Sis and Bill Lee of Dothan, Alabama; Helen Forward of Mobile, Alabama and Amy Blackwood of Montgomery, Alabama; ten grand-children, Lucy Garry Flinn (Billy), Lynn Garry Muller (John), Kathryn Garry Wadley (David), William Lovard Lee IV (Cora), Lawrence Stuart Lee, Lucy Culver Lee, Amelia Stuart Forward, Bradley Stuart Forward, Amelia Hope Blackwood and Laura Lee Blackwood; eight great- grandchildren and many members of her extended family. Mrs. Stuart was lovingly cared for by Joann Anderson, Pat Gibbs, Bonnie Jones, Jan Knuckles, Mattie Powell and Clara Smith. Pallbearers will be: Jay Garry, William Lee IV, Stuart Lee, Brad Forward, Billy Flinn, John Muller, David Wadley, Ed Stuart, David Stuart, Hayne Hollis and Mose Stuart III. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that memorial contributions be made to: First united Methodist Church, 2416 West Cloverdale Park, Montgomery, AL 36106 or Regional Library for the Blind, 6030 Monticello Drive, Montgomery, AL 36117 or ones favorite charity.
