IRWIN, Arthur F., 89, a resident of Montgomery, AL, died Wednesday, May 24, 2006. Funeral services will be Saturday, May 27, 2006 at 10:00 AM at St. Bede Catholic Church with Reverend Den Irwin and Reverend David Tokarz officiating. Burial will follow in St. Margaret’s Oakwood Cemetery. Mr. Irwin was the Budget Director at the Air University at Maxwell Air Force Base for 31 years. He was a member of St. Bede Catholic Church and the American Legion.  He is preceded in death by his parents Oscar G. and Mary C. Irwin, four sisters and one brother. He is survived by his beloved wife Virginia F. Irwin, two sons Dr. John David Irwin and his wife Edie and Dr. Michael Dennis Irwin and his wife Lynne, grandchildren Geri Irwin Frazier and her husband Bruno, John David Irwin and his wife Julie, Laura Lynne Irwin, Reverend Michael Dennis Irwin, Jr and Margaret Allison Irwin Rumore and her husband Charles, and great grandchildren John David and Abi Irwin, Andrew and Ryan Frazier, and Charles Anthony, Dominic, Mary Margaret and Andrew Rumore. Active pallbearers will be John Irwin, Dr. Bruno Frazier, Charles Rumore, Carl Barranco, Ray Allen, Col. Jim Wuehler, Jeff Clark and David Clark. Honorary Pallbearers will be Col. Weldon Doe, Robert Weil, Edward Clark, Anthony Stojak and Col. Dale Scott.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Bede Catholic Church to the St. Vincent de Paul Society or C.O.P.E.  Visitation will be at Leak-Memory Chapel on Friday, May 26, 2006 from 5:30 PM until 7:00 PM, with a Rosary to follow at 7:00 PM.  Leak-Memory Chapel Directing.
