Alice Hill, MD (Pye) (1916-1997) - Class Of 1933

Alice was the daughter of Dr. James Fitts Hill and Elizabeth Morris Baldwin Hill, and the granddaughter of Dr. Benjamin James Baldwin, for whom Baldwin Junior High School was named, and Mary Hulit Morris Baldwin, whose father was a founder of Birmingham, Alabama.

Born on March 9, 1916, Alice graduated from Sidney Lanier High School in 1933, and attended the University of Alabama School of Medicine.  She married Dr. Robert Pye, who died in 1981.  She and Robert had one son, Robert B. Pye, who was born in 1956, and is a lawyer in Woodland Hills, California.

Alice passed away on March 13, 1997, in Woodland Hills, California, and was survived by her son, Robert, and his wife, Stacey Arnold Pye, and by her grandchildren, Sarah Elizabeth and Emily Pye.
