Karen Whatley Milstead reports to us that Cindy Mook Swinson, age 53, passed away April 5, 2014, from a heart attack in Montgomery, Alabama. Cindy is survived by her husband Mike Swinson, their two daughters, one son, one granddaughter, one sister, and one brother. She was borned February 6, 1961

Cindy Leona Mook Swinson, 53, a resident of Montgomery, Alabama, passed away on Friday, April 4, 2014.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 from 5:00pm - 7:00pm at Leak Memory Chapel. Funeral services will be on Thursday, April 10, 2014 at 2:00pm at Leak Memory Chapel, with burial following at Montgomery Memorial Cemetery.

Cindy was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother that touched many lives and will be missed by all that knew her. She was a 1979 graduate of Lanier High School and loved gardening. Cindy loved people and never met a stranger.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lemuel and Mary Cathryn Mook.

Cindy is survived by her husband of 31 years, Mike Swinson; four children, Cathryn Lawson (Jordan), Jehremy Swinson, Meaghan Swinson, Jessica Swinson; granddaughter, Magdalene Lawson; brother, Rick Mook; and sister, Judy Carbon.
