Charles A. (Buddy) Stewart, 62, (Retired, SGT, U.S. Army), a resident of Montgomery, AL, passed away on Friday, July 26, 2013. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 31, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at White Chapel-Greenwood Funeral Home. Graveside services will be on Thursday, August 1, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Greenwood Cemetery with military honors. The Rev. Scott Jordan will officiate the service. There will also be a visitation from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m., prior to the service on Thursday at the funeral home. Mr. Stewart served his country proudly in the U.S. Marines, the Air National Guard, and retiring at the rank of Sergeant in the U.S. Army. He will be truly missed by all that knew him. Buddy was preceded in death by his parents, Charles B. Stewart, Jr. and Syble N. Stewart. He is survived by his wife, Yvonne Stewart; son, Christopher Stewart (Shara); grandchildren, Gracelyn Stewart and Nevaeh Dubose; two sisters, Soyna Moore (Tom) and Annette Cartwright (Walter); three nieces and several great nephews and nieces.
